My husband as been having pleated pies when they used to be in bus station in Southampton when they moved to Shirley in Southampton we used to go up and get them red out when they were just cooked we have moved away to Gloucestershire cannot get any pies like plesteds my sister as just come to visit should called up to Southampton to get 6 pies my husband was really surprised to get his favourite pies pity there are no other plested pie shop closer thanks for the good pies you bake

This is my year of 'firsts' and the Plested Pie has got to be the tastiest, meat and gravy filled luscious one of all!
As a Northerner I know a thing or two about pies, and this is one to be savoured and appreciated.
Stepping into the shop was like going back to a gentler, less frenetic age when everything was handmade locally and customer service was actually serving the customer.
A gem of a shop that I will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend

When I was a kid I used to get orders from neighbours on a Saturday morning get the bus no 35 from Kendal Ave to Green bus station I had to get 25 pies the lady used to give me 2 pies for going wish them days was still here Still nice memories Andre

Yes I too used to buy from the Bus Station. By far the best take away food in Southampton. I now live in Bahrain and Thailand, but my first port of call when I visit my home city of Southampton is the Plested Pie shop.
How I wish I could buy pies here.
I really miss my hometown pies!

I want some, I used to eat these for a shilling each when they were in the green bus station... Do they have a web site? Miss the old days... ate five in a row as a teenager... Gravy all over me. lol arthurstowell@gmail.com
