It was OK in my opinion, but I see it has closed down now. Maybe the inflexible opening hours then, rather than the soggy batter!

Quality of food is average - the chips are fine, the batter on the fish is usually a bit soggy. Not enough to stop me going back, but not great either.
Nice lady that runs the place.
Closes very early. Not sure what their published opening hours are, but I've walked there at 7:45 before, perfectly normal time to nip out to the chippy for a late supper after a job, and found it closed. Not a one-off - whenever I go there it's a tossup whether it'll be open.

This chip shop do Gluten free battered fish, and if you know what a gluten allergy feels like, then you want to know this.
