My Nan sadly passed away 3 weeks today and today was her funeral. Paul Capper and his team have been Fantastic!
A week before the funeral the whole family decided to go in to see my Nan in the Chapel of Rest. The whole team were friendly, supportive and provide drinks and tissues.
The inside of the building and the chapel itself were also in Fantastic condition, and looked beautiful just like my Nan.
They followed the families requests of what earrings, rings, clothes to wear and how she had her hair ect, and the staff were so friendly and relaxed, they let us take it at our own pace and were aloud as much or as little time as we needed, we could even ring up 30 minutes beforehand if we wanted to see her in the chapel which to me is excellent service.
On the actual day of the funeral Paul Capper himself directed the hearse and the limousines for a 15 minute walk in the pouring rain from my Nan's house in Wildern Lane, all the way through Hedge End Village even stopping the traffic to let us through, and finally led us up to St Johns Church were the funeral took place.
There was one small complication during the service made by the florist, which Paul sorted himself personally just before the end of the service.
Paul then walked again from the Church to the Cemetery in Albert Road, Hedge End which was still in the pouring rain.
This was the first funeral that I have ever attended, but I would without a doubt recommend to anyone who is planning a funeral or making arrangements for their own funeral to arrange it with him! He was so polite and caring, he wasn't just a nobody, he treated us like we were his own family and not just a stranger. I cant say much more, but he was just brilliant. This is a HUGE recommendation from my whole family (over 40 people in total)
