I would’t recommend this place to anyone. Each time I’ve been here in the last few years the chips have been awful. They are full of grease. There isn’t a pleasant taste they are very bland. You get a mixture of stodgy and rock hard chips with very little salt and vinegar even though i asked for plenty. This time i will not be returning to the chip shop in the future unless it’s under new management who actually care about the taste of their food. Even my children didn’t want to eat the chips!

The worst chips ive ever had .Rock hard chips dry digusted .Batter disgusting hard or the wont return or my family members.
Dont wast your money going there.

Pale limp chips, stale and dry pea fritters, although they are homemade.
The fish was a third of the size of the batter which made it look large. The batter was thick and floury.
Overall the worst fish and chips i have had for years. I couldn't eat it and would never return.
I guess there has been a change in ownership/management as this used to be a great chippy.
