I went to see this lady on 22 March 2018 for lash extensions. These cost £45. They looked good when they were first done.
Over the next week people kept peering at my face and picking lashes off my cheek; the lashes were falling out.
You would expect a few to fall out, but not that many. After a week there were virtually none left on my eyes. I texted the lady on 29 March to tell her this. I said the lashes had all gone, and I was letting her know as her glue might be out of date.
I was surprised to get a defensive text back, telling me that there is nothing wrong with her glue, no-one else has complained, she had TOLD me I could make a complaint if the lashes fell out 'within five days', and she said that lashes fall out due to a number of factors including humidity and hormones!!
I wasn't exactly making a complaint, I was giving feedback. But anyway it was seven days, not five days, so I suppose if I had been making a complaint, I would have got nowhere.
I am very angry, not because the lashes fell out but I am angry at her unprofessional attitude...how DARE she say that "no-one else has complained" !!
It would have been polite to offer a refund - and a £20 refund would have been fine. After all they did stay on for nearly a week. But instead I have wasted £45, and I am meant to believe that the lashes fell out because of my HORMONES !! - You have been warned.
