This is just a brilliant shop. They sell a huge selection of wool, the fabric is growing all the time and all habby bits are great to look through. There is a whole wall of ribbons and bias which you can buy from 25cm upwards - no having to buy whole rolls here and the amount of buttons is fabulous. Again you can only buy one button if that's all you need! Also offers picture framing! I understand that this shop has recently been taken over and although lovely before, the shop has been taken up more than a notch or two. All the same staff are there and its so friendly and the knowledge is unbelievable. They will not rip you off either and on several occasions I have picked up an item that I thought I wanted but on asking, they have served me the smaller correct amount I actually needed. I have also gone in with knitting when I have been stuck and they have taken the time to go through it with me. This is rare! I love this shop. The stock is growing/changing all the time and some days its just lovely to wander in a soak up the atmosphere. Williamsons is a proper, friendly, knowledgeable shop. I cant recommend it enough.
